Double congratulations are in order for Nina and O’hara reaching 4 years at Orion! Nina and O’hara joined us in 2016 and have been vital additions to their project teams since then. Berkeley-based Project Geologist Nina’s thoughtful approach to project management consistently produces quality results. Outside of Orion, Nina’s passionate about Community Supported Agriculture and often shares her adventures at Singing Frogs Farm with the company including beautiful photos of her vibrant flowers. Her love of food extends into the kitchen where Nina enjoys tinkering with Thai cuisine and fermentation. So, what does Nina like about working at Orion?
I like working at Orion because Orion is very supportive of its employees and genuinely cares about who they are and what they love. Orion also is a workplace that makes sure that all of its employees at all levels have the tools and training opportunities to keep growing.
Long-Beach based Senior Staff Geologist O’hara’s reliability and persistence help her to successfully fulfill the role of Project Coordinator on multiple projects. O’hara not only shines on technical work, but also administrative where she supports Orion’s social media efforts. When she clocks out, O’hara likes to soak up the sun on her plant-filled patio and bake delicious sourdough bread. What does O’hara look forward to the most on
her drive to the office walk down the hall to her home work station?
I look forward to working with the many teams we have at Orion that keep my days varied. They’re filled with working on projects with the best engineers and scientists, celebrating birthdays and Orion day, and even picking out fun photos to share on Orion’s Instagram.
Thank you for making a difference at Orion!
